Emilie is an LGBTQ+ therapist that is highly passionate about providing strengths-focused, trauma-informed care to clients in individual and group treatment settings. Emilie has received training and gained experience working with clients from a variety of backgrounds, and a diversity of ages, identities, sexual orientations, and socioeconomic status. They practice from a relational, psychodynamic model which emphasizes attachment, interpersonal-relational theory, and experiential-affective components to help client’s reach their goals in therapy. Emilie is especially interested in working with adolescents and emerging adults around concerns related to neurodiversity, LGBTQ+ identity formation, peer support/relational issues, single-incident and complex trauma, and school-related stress.
Emilie earned their Master’s in Clinical Psychology from APA-Accredited Fuller Graduate School of Psychology and is a Ph.D. doctoral student at the same institution. They are registered with the Board of Psychology in California as a Psychological Associate (PSB94027503) and are working under the direct supervision of Dr. Jennifer Lee-Dick (PSY 29250). They have experience providing psychotherapy in a variety of settings, including community mental health and university counseling centers. Emilie also has experience administering neurodevelopmental evaluations in a private practice setting.
